How do I apply for GIGS programmes?
Complete the online application form on this website. There are dedicated forms for the Executive Certificates and Summer Course, for the Executive Seminars, and for the E-learning Certificate.
What are GIGS admission requirements?
We indicate any academic prerequisite for each course and seminar. As the working language of our courses is English, a good command of English is necessary.
Can I apply without a background in geopolitics or international relations?
Yes. For most of our courses and seminars you are welcome to apply regardless of your disciplinary background.
Who are the participants in the study programmes?
Participants come from many countries and backgrounds — university students, diplomats, military officers, professionals from various economic sectors, and people working for international organisations and government agencies.
What is included in the tuition fee?
The tuition fee covers attendance of the course you register for. It does not cover travel, accommodation, meals or health insurance.
What is GIGS' cancellation policy?
If you cancel after having paid, GIGS retains 15% of the registration fee and refunds 85%. If GIGS cancels a course, the full amount paid is reimbursed.
Does GIGS provide financial aid, scholarships or research grants?
No. GIGS does not provide any form of financial aid, scholarship or research grant to attend its courses and seminars.
